AIR CONDITIONING
We are the recognised air conditioning specialists in the south of England, both for installation of air con on a retro-fit basis for prestige vehicles, and for ongoing servicing of existing systems across a wide range of marques. We also deal with commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery and have even worked on aircraft. If it can be done, we can do it!
Retro-fit of complete systems
You may be lucky enough to own an outstanding example of a great car, such as a Porsche 911 or 968, or maybe a Mercedes or even a Ferrari. You love the car - but unfortunately it was originally specified without air conditioning. People have probably even told you that it's not possible to retro-fit air con in your vehicle.
Well, they may have been wrong. We have fitted top specification air conditioning into all these cars and more - and the fitment is virtually indistinguishable form original equipment. This is because we use a combination of new, top-quality performance parts, such as condensers and pumps, and branded spares for the parts that show, such as fascia panels and switchgear, along with reconditioned items where an original part is necessary to fit the car. This is definitely not a low-grade, one-size-fits-all auto-accessory kit!
The Porsche GT3 pictured here is an outstanding ex-Porsche GB Club Sport, so was not originally specified with air con, but has now benefited from the fitment of a complete system. Not that you'd be able to tell by looking at the finished car - except that it's just as cool now inside as the car is on the outside!
Servicing
We are pleased to service your existing vehicle air conditioning system. We work on a wide range of makes of cars, as well as tractors, combine harvesters and commercial vehicles.
Many car dealers will say that they offer air con servicing, but we do it thoroughly, using professional oxygen-free nitrogen high pressure testing equipment. If a system has a leak, we do not consider the job complete until it is sound. This means, for instance, that you do not pay one month for a system re-charge only for it to slowly leak away and the efficacy of your system to drop to nothing the next month. If you need replacement parts we will explain why, and do the best job possible while keeping costs reasonable for you. We are one of very few companies working in air con who support their work in this way.
