The Porsche GT3R featured here is an example of our work and fastidious attention to detail. The car is in fact a left-hand-drive 2001 GT3 imported from Spain, which was painstakingly converted to RHD and then upgraded to the full 2004 body specification (and more). This included new wings, GT3RS front splitter and Litronic headlight units to create the 2004 front, side skirts, a facelifted rear bumper and a new boot lid including a GT3RS carbon fibre top spoiler to complete the rear profile.
Mechanically, in addition to the conversion the car has had the suspension specifically set up for the track, a full switchable sports exhaust system and the latest Porsche ceramic discs fitted inside 2004 wheels - to make sure it stops as well as it goes. And of course we fitted a new condenser to the air con system to keep things cool inside, where we would challenge you to see any evidence of the replaced dashboard, wiring loom and controls.
The result? A stunning GT3R which looks as new and performs outstandingly on both road and track. And how much faith did we have in our own work? 140 m.p.h. around the famous Eau Rouge at Spa – that’s how much!
